Two ways to get rid of pages
You can either delete the pages you do not want, or extract the pages you do want into a new file. Deleting is quicker when only a few pages need to go, such as a blank page left by the scanner. Extracting is quicker when you only need a few pages out of a long document.
Deleting pages
Open the PDF in the editor and show the page sidebar. Each thumbnail has a delete button; click it on every page you want to remove. For larger clean-ups, open Organize Pages from the tools menu to see all pages at once, select the ones to remove and apply.
Deleted pages can be brought back with Undo (Ctrl+Z, or Cmd+Z on a Mac) until you save. When you click Done, the downloaded PDF contains only the remaining pages. Your original file is not changed.
Keeping only some pages
Choose Split & Extract Pages from the tools menu and switch to Extract. Type the pages you want, for example 1-3, 7, and the new PDF contains just those pages. The page numbers refer to the pages as they are arranged in the editor, so you can reorder first and extract afterwards.
Removing confidential pages properly
Deleting a page removes it from the downloaded file completely; it is not hidden. If you only need to hide part of a page, such as an account number, use the Redact tool instead of deleting the whole page.
Before sending, open the new file and check the page count. A quick scroll from start to end catches the most common mistake: deleting the page after the one you meant.
