Organize PDF pagesWhy rotating in a viewer is not enough
Most PDF viewers let you rotate the view, but that only changes how the page is shown on your screen at that moment. The next person to open the file still sees the page sideways. To fix it for everyone, the rotation has to be saved into the PDF itself.
Rotating pages
Open the PDF in the editor and go to the page that is the wrong way round. Use the rotate control to turn it 90 degrees at a time. To rotate several pages at once, such as every landscape table in a report, select them in the sidebar first. Rotation can be undone with Ctrl+Z like any other change.
When you download the PDF, the rotation is written into the file, so it opens correctly in every viewer and prints the right way up.
Reordering pages
Pages often end up in the wrong order after scanning a double-sided document or merging several files. In the editor sidebar, drag a page thumbnail to its new position. For bigger changes, the Organize Pages view shows all pages at once, which makes it easier to move pages over long distances.
While you are there, you can duplicate a page, which is handy for a form you need to fill twice, or delete blank pages left behind by the scanner.
A quick final check
Before saving, scroll through the whole document once. Check that every page is upright, the order makes sense, and no pages are missing or repeated. After downloading, open the new file to confirm the changes stuck.
